I research architectural interiors and interiority, and the performative materiality of texts.

I am particularly interested in writing texts that juxtapose typically academic writerly devices with autobiographical fragments as a way to find where theory and real life contaminate and perform each other.

I have co-founded a research project and peer-reviewed journal to promote (and learn more about) these forms of experimental, hybrid, autotheoretical scholarly writing, Passage.

I am also part of (D)raft, a para-academic collective that works together to resist (and survive) rigid disciplinary boundaries.
